2020 Thanksgiving Baskets

Picture

Thank you to everyone who donated to support this years' Thanksgiving Baskets.  The UMW was able to fill and deliver 10 baskets to foster youth with all they would need for a Thanksgiving meal.  The UMW thanks you for your giving hearts and generosity.

Happy Thanksgiving!

The 2020 ILSP Thanksgiving Basket campaign is complete!

Starting now and ending on Friday, November 20, 2020, we will be collecting the items listed below to fill baskets for the foster youth supported by ILSP.

Lynda Justice will be keeping a list of what you would like to donate so we can track what will be donated and what we may have to purchase to complete a basket.   We would appreciate everyone coordinating with Lynda so she can keep track of what you plan to purchase.  (Please contact the church office should you need Lynda's phone number.) Your items may be dropped off in the ILSP box in the hall outside the church office. (Please be sure to wear a mask.)  Also, let Lynda know if you need someone to pick up your items at your home and we will make arrangements.

Monetary donations may be sent to our UMW Treasurer, Flavia Muttera, 1897 Appia Court, Walnut Creek, CA 94598. These will be used to purchase Safeway cards and other items needed for the baskets.

Our deadline to have all items on hand is Friday, November 20th.  This will provide enough time to have volunteers prepare and then deliver the baskets.
